I have enjoyed the Star Wars X-wing Miniatures Game since I first picked up the starter set, well two sets actually.  Enjoying the movies, especially the original trilogy, made me want to play out some battles between the ships and characters you see on the screen.  Later I found a way to play solo or with friends (but on the same side) against the AI opponent, the amazing Heroes of the Aturi Cluster supplement created by Josh Derkson.  After that I found that I could create some of my own upgrade cards and pilots for the game using Strange Eons.

I have enjoyed creating cards for fun and for use when playing.  Some of the cards I created with Strange Eons were from ideas read online, creations by other people, and some of my own as well.  I just liked them and made them for myself to enjoy, not trying to make money or steal ideas, just thought they were good and wanted to make cards.

Here are a couple of cards I made using the program.  There may be some that are already done by Fantasy Flight Games, but I did not have access to them, so I created them.  Here are a couple of cards from the Astromech category.

I will post a couple of cards now and then, whether both from the same category, or from different ones.

Games, games, and more games

Well, I guess the title says a lot, but not enough at the same time.  In this blog I hope to show some gaming goodness that will include; games played, campaigns, AAR's (after action reports), thoughts, ideas, as well as new cards and rules, etc. that may have been added and/or used for the games.

A few of the games that I hope to have appear on this blog include, but not limited to:
  • Star Wars X-wing Miniatures game
  • Star Trek Starship Combat Tactical Simulator
  • Blood Bowl
  • DungeonQuest
  • Fortune and Glory: the Cliffhangers Game
  • Zombicide
  • Frostgrave
  • Space Empires
A lot of what I will post here is for myself as much as anyone who reads it.  A place to see what I enjoy doing, and remind myself to play more often.

Game On!
